The Story So Far

Just like Ash Ketchum caught Pokémon, I’ve taught em’ all!

It started in college at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. My academic record qualified me to become one of the university’s first peer mentors, with my mission to help under-performing students reach their potential.

After graduating, I taught autistic young learners at a private special needs school. Then I decided to spread my wings and flap on over to Asia to begin my journey teaching English. 

First, I worked in Hsinchu, Taiwan at an elementary school with the Taiwanese Ministry of Education (MOE) to help push forward the country’s Bilingual 2030 goal.

Then I hopscotched over to Changwon, South Korea to teach at a private kindergarten, before returning back to the MOE in New Taipei City. 

I needed a new challenge, so I stepped into adult teaching with a company in Taipei.

After achieving the highest student retention rate in that company’s history, along with a long list of wonderful reviews, I knew my next step was to teach for myself.

Coursenomics was born.
